The Book Exchange
Help us bridge the resource gap

At Project Always Forward, we believe that education is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to create a more equitable and sustainable future by redistributing gently used textbooks and educational materials from well-resourced schools to under-resourced communities around the world. By bridging this resource gap, we empower students with the tools they need to succeed.

Every student deserves access to quality learning materials. Unfortunately, countless schools lack the resources to provide even the most basic textbooks, while other institutions have surplus materials going unused. Our book exchange program offers a simple but powerful solution: reuse, redistribute, and reimagine the future of education.

Join us! Let’s move education forward, always.

About Us
Project Always Forward was born from a simple observation: some schools throw out books, while others struggle to find them.

Project Always Forward is a platform where schools can unite to create meaningful change.

Our Goals
-
Equity: Close the educational resource gap by giving every student the tools they need to learn.
-
Sustainability: Reduce waste and promote reuse of materials through a circular system of donation.
-
Connection: Foster empathy and collaboration through direct school-to-school partnerships.

Current Initiatives

Book Exchange Program
This initiative connects donor schools to schools in need. Every book donation directly supports students who are eager to learn but may lack the materials to do so.
Student Ambassadors
Students can become changemakers in their own schools by organizing book drives, advocating for sustainable practices, and spreading the mission of educational equity
Book Drives
Book drives collect gently used textbooks, novels, and educational materials from students, teachers, and families. These books are then sorted and added to the Book Bank.
Book Bank
The Book Bank is a free online catalog of donated textbooks and educational materials available to students, teachers, and schools. After our book drives, we log every book we collect so you can browse what's available and request the resources you need at no cost.
